Klein Rivier Cafe:

Klein Rivier Cafe is based inside the Stanford Hotel, at 18 Queen Victoria Street and is Stanford's very own espresso bar! Delicious 'Truth' coffee is served from a hatch in the most beautiful courtyard in Stanford, shaded by a weeping willow and furnished with mismatching vintage chairs and tables. Food is served from tables out in the courtyard in a market style, where coffee lovers can enjoy a top notch cappuccino or 'Slutty Lutty' (Amarula Latte) with fresh gourmet bites and bakes. After sinking a delicious coffee or two, patrons are encouraged to get into the holiday vibe, by sipping jars of cocktails and Pimms, while jazz plays in the background.

Graze:

Stanford residents, Jero and Catch, own this delightful Italian slow food cafe tucked behind an unassuming entrance, in Queen Victoria Street. Greeted by the scent of freshly baked bread and coffee as one enters, the small sunlit cafe is an absolute must for any foodie visiting the village. One is immediately struck with the attention to detail invested in every nook and cranny - from the vintage chairs and tables, through to storage jars, vintage jugs, bowls, cookbooks, pots and pans. Jero and Catch base all their dishes on the seasonal vegetables from their own award winning natural vegetable garden. Breakfast at Graze is a treat, which should be washed down with a heart-poundingly strong cappuccino and teamed with Jero's freshly baked 'Ciabatta de Mare', while Friday night dinners and Saturday afternoon lunches are best enjoyed over the course of hours, rounded off with Jero's own homemade Limoncello.
