• Stanford has a market square which is very rare, where we hold farm markets, play cricket and arrange the odd festival on it.
• Stanford has a bird sanctuary with birds unique to the area.
• Stanford has a brewery where our special Birkenhead Beer is brewed
• Stanford has a cheese farm, Kleinriver Dairy, producers of international award winning Gruyer cheese.
• Stanford has Marianas - our multiple award winning country bistro. A legend "in its own lunchtime".
• Stanford has Wine - try the wonderful local selection at The Stanford Hotel liquor store and wine shop. Or sip it at leisure at Oom Steyn's Pub or on that famous veranda at Marianas.
